Trekking for Kids

I am a little behind in blogging so I will be playing catch up for the next couple of blog entries.

Last week a volunteer group called Trekking for Kids came to Azul Wasi and painted the bedrooms of the older kids. They had also donated money that will go directly to fund another building. It was a very exciting time for the children and some of them got into the action!  There was lots of laughs and cheers of excitement as the leader of the trekking group unveiled some 'goodies' for the kids. Volleyballs, a chess set and more! It was also a day of hard work digging a huge whole for a tank that will decompose waste from the bathroom.

It was a group effort!

Lunch in the eating area with everyone.

After beautifying the boy's home, we all gathered in the library for an evening of entertainment and more gifts from the Trekking for Kids group.
